VerticalResponse Social is the latest addition to the VerticalResponse portfolio of marketing solutions. The suite enables businesses to create, manage and measure all of their marketing efforts, and the new launch includes social media marketing functionality.
A VerticalResponse user data analysis conducted in March 2012 confirmed that businesses using both email marketing and social media achieve 28% higher email open rates, signifying the growing importance of integrating these efforts.
VerticalResponse Social offers several benefits geared toward small business or non-profit organizations, including the ability to create, schedule and publish content to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn profiles up to 30 days in advance. The platform also provides recommendations on the ideal number of links, questions, quotes or status updates to publish over the campaign duration.
Users also can share their content across channels from one platform, and access relevant, up-to-the-minute content based on industry and special interests, from quotes to blog posts to news, to select and share. A custom content calendar helps users manage and track communications.
Users can view, respond to and track comments and replies from Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn within the VerticalResponse dashboard.
“Users can choose curated content from our automatic feeds or their own content, then create and schedule a campaign that’s spread through both email and social media to amplify their message,” said VerticalResponse CEO Janine Popick, in a press release. “They also can manage social conversations and deepen their engagement with their customers. Because it’s all managed from the VerticalResponse dashboard, the time savings alone are enormous.”
