Ceros, an experiential content platform, has raised $100 million in funding from mid-market private equity firm Sumeru Equity Partners (SEP) and existing investors. The company plans to use the funding to increase and improve the production of its digital experiences and make acquisitions of additional technology products.
The Ceros platform helps businesses such as NBC, IBM, United Airlines and more create immersive, scalable, interactive content without writing code.
"We are super excited about our partnership with Ceros, as we’re seeing significant acceleration in the creative software and content creation spaces — already a multi-billion-dollar market — as enterprise communication activity and budgets further shift in that direction," Ceros executives said in a statement. "Ceros has built a leadership position in that space by prioritizing platform innovation and immersive design simplicity. Our core proposition that ‘experience matters’ has been emblematic of how the business has scaled — focusing first on customer needs through a relentless commitment to product, building a terrific team and creating an inspiring, energetic culture."
